In 2005, I was lucky enough to attend the 63rd Reunion of the Doolittle Raiders. This weekend, they will hold their 68th Reunion. It has been billed as their last, and it's going to be a big event, with lots of planes, and pomp and circumstance, at the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. I won't be there, it just didn't work out, but I count my lucky stars that I did get to one of them. This essay is a look back on that event, 5 years ago.
