Long-time viewers of MaxAir2Air have seen many images from my experiences during the Gathering of Mustangs and Legends. (You can view those essays again, here.) So what is left to cover? With these images, featuring the P-51D Lady B, I've tried to convey the sense of zeroing in on the moment that comes from hanging out of the back of a B-25 with a fighter's whirling propeller in your face.
