Sunday, May 3rd 2009, was a big day for the Red Tail Project. It was a major milestone in the restoration of the Tuskegee Airmen, the P-51C flown by the Minnesota Wing of the CAF. On this day, the wings were mated to the fuselage. Pictures by Max Haynes
