Eventially the rain clouds moved over, and let the air show begin. Four A-10 "Warthogs" from the 442nd Fighter Squadron flew over from Whiteman Air Force Base and made a few passes as well as other military aircraft, including an Apache AH-64 with the 135th Aviation Battalion, Missouri National Guard. The pilot was Shawn Defenbaugh, a local boy from Tarkio.
