Tim Barzen asked me if I wanted to go flying last Sunday, the 9th of November. I hestitated, the forecast called for about 28 degrees farenheit, and sporadic snow. The Minnesota Wing of the CAF has a Harvard, which is the Canadian version of the AT-6. The Harvard is supposed to have a heater . . .this one doesn't.
I found Tim checking the gas for moisture, lying on the cold hangar floor. The MNCAF is on a very tight budget, so there isn't money for giving the hangar much heat-- that's a story.
