In order to get images of the faster-flying B-24 and B-17, we took off first, in Scott Romuld's T-6. We climbed high above, before the bombers lumbered into the air. It was a beautiful sight to see them lift up over the treetops, and fly over the Minnesota countryside at that elevation.
