On the grounds of the Minnesota state capitol, the largest group of 80-year-olds ever to assemble was underway. Above them, a squadron of bombers, fighters and trainers from WWII, rumbled across the skies. Pictures by Max Haynes, (taken from the plane, and later at the Memorial).
