On June 6th, 2007, the Red Tail Project held a fund raising event as a tribute to the Tuskegee Airmen. Red Tail Reborn, the movie by Hemlock Films about the Tuskegee Airmen and the restoration of the aircraft, had it's Minnesota premier at the event as well. Six members of the Tuskegee Airmen honored us with their presence and Minnesota Basketball coach Tubby Smith made the address. The event was a success and brought in needed funds to rebuild the airplane and for the Red Tail education program.
