Trees and airplanes don't usually go together too well but they managed to clear the trees with their heavy load without a problem. I imagine the pilots are ever ready to dump their load on observing photographers if they can't get the altitude they need. You can see the hatch on the bottom of the plane where the water is dumped and directly behind that, the very small scoops that take in the water when open. Rate of climb- 1,000-feet-per-minute
