He loved to Share I was a lowly bomber pilot flying airshows in a B-25, when Beck asked me to fly his Corsair. Flying the Corsair was really cool, but as incredible as that was, what was really cool is that a Gerry Beck would ask me to do that. That was humbling. When I landed, he was more excited to see me fly it, than I was. Maybe he was just happy that I got it back on the ground in one piece….
