A World-class Artist Beck was a humble guy, but he was proud of his art. Look at the Corsair; this is the most beautiful piece of industrial art ever conceived. He built this airplane with his hands. Beck was not a mechanic, he was an Artist. Every time I arrived in Wahpeton, there was some new invention or project. He would take me out in the shop and show me his latest endeavor. All of them were incredible. His handprints are all over most of the airplanes in this museum, and many of the airplanes out on the ramp.
